Prem Santana

Prem Santana is a director, writer, veteran actor, and graduate of the American Film Institute Conservatory. In 2022, she was selected by AFI as a Telluride Film Festival FilmLab Fellow, and her script Three Piece Suit was a 2023 Disney/AFI Underrepresented Storytellers Initiative finalist. Her short film I Thought the Earth Remembered Me has screened around the country including AFI Fest, the Scad Savannah Film Festival, Reeling Chicago, and more. Her feature script The Earth Remembered Me was a semi-finalist in the Outfest Screenwriting Lab. Prem also founded the Moonfaze Feminist Film Festival, which ran for four years, celebrating and showcasing female-led films from around the globe. Currently Prem is developing multiple projects including three feature films.
