Catherine Clinch

Once a stand-up regular at The Improv, The Comedy Store, and The Playboy Club (where she was conspicuously overdressed), writer-producer Catherine Clinch is an industry vet who has written for some of television’s most popular network series including “Love Boat,” “Hart to Hart,” and “Knight Rider.” Catherine has also plied her trade for “Transformers: Rescue Bots” and, in 2018, “Stan Lee’s S.T.E.A.M. Squad” for POW! Entertainment. Catherine has worked directly for a veritable who’s who of iconic television producers and executives, including Aaron Spelling, Fred Silverman, and Stephen J. Cannell. In the process, she earned 18 produced credits in network TV. She is the former Associate Publisher of the print version of Creative Screenwriting Magazine, and co-coordinator of the Screenwriting Expo, covering an average of 50 conferences and panels a year for five years. Looking for a new challenge, Catherine expanded her experience into other forms of media such as marketing, technology, and mobile entertainment for which she has been awarded three patents. Today, Catherine teaches a professional certificate program of her creation in Social Media Strategy & Content Marketing at California State University Dominguez Hills, and chairs the Writers Guild of America West Career Longevity Committee. She wrote and created art for a new graphic novel, “A Millennial’s Guide to the Apocalypse,” which she plans on releasing later this year. Catherine is happily with three sons.
