Michael Dorsey

Michael Dorsey is a St. Louis-born writer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles. He received his BA in Cinema Art and Science from Columbia College Chicago, with a concentration in Cinematography and Cinema Studies. Michael has directed several short films &  assistant directed for five seasons at Upstream Theater, where he directed the 2018 production of A Tree, Falling. His video installation works have been exhibited at SMU's Mildred Hawn Exhibition Gallery & Hofmann LaChance Contemporary. He is currently a directing fellow at the American Film Institute.
