Bio
Los Angeles based Guatemalan-American cinematographer, Ellin Aldana, lenses story first narratives. Using color, emotionality, and character specific style to drop you into their world. Originally an archivist, Ellin blends her deep dive research skills to help create original aesthetics with her directors that explore the diversity of the human experience. Ellin received her Master’s degree in cinematography from AFI. She is an Altitude Award Winner for her cinematography. Her films have gone on to screen in various festivals like Austin Film Festival, LAShorts, NYLFF, and AFI Fest. You can catch her riding her bike, tending to her flower garden, or thrifting in her free time.
