Bio
Mary-Elizabeth is a Texas born filmmaker dedicated to resilient storytelling. She’s focused on expanding Black and Brown representation in front of and behind the lens. Mary-Elizabeth hopes to always connect with local activists, artists, and community leaders to highlight their work. Her short film “biracial.” is featured in the Studio Museum in Harlem’s Memories for the Future series. The showcase highlights filmmakers across the globe that created short works focused on memory preservation in visual and sonic form.
