TANYA Taylor

After over a decade producing content in Jamaica, Tanya set her sights on sharing her Afro-Indian British American Black female gaze with a more global audience. She moved to NY in 2016 and then LA in 2022 when she landed the showrunner and director role for a new competition reality series for FUSE TV. Tanya infused the series in front of and behind the camera with her inclusive lens garnering a 2023 GLAAD award nomination. Tanya is developing the LGBTQ themed docu-fiction feature Jamaican Pride. She is also working on bringing the Jamaican culture to a larger audience in the hybrid comedy sketch series, How to be Jamaican? Happiest when on set surrounded by a diverse crew coming together to manifest one creative vision, she remains devoted to crafting culturally infused content.
