Lily Gwyer

Lily Gwyer-Miller is the Seattle-born child of two hippies whose career in entertainment began in the role of “Janet” at midnight screenings of “Rocky Horror Picture Show.” With performance in her blood, she went on to earn a degree in Modern Dance from Evergreen State College but ultimately set aside her Twyla Tharp ways for a career as post-production supervisor, working on films such as The Sitter, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and, most recently, No One Will Save You. After a life-changing cancer diagnosis, Lily teamed up with her writing partner, Janna Taylor, and returned to her creative roots through screenwriting. Together they have been featured on The Blacklist Disability List, as American Zoetrope Screenwriting Competition Finalists and, most recently, as Harvardwood Screenwriters Competition Finalists.
