Bio
Philip Philip Elliott writes punk-glazed neo-noir rooted in complex characters and blends this style with drama, thrillers and horror. An optioned screenwriter, his horror feature Highway of Tears won Best Screenplay at VHS 2022. Philip's debut novel, Nobody Move, won Best First Novel in the CWC Awards for Excellence in Canadian Crime Writing and follow-up Porno Valley was a finalist for a Shamus Award by the Private Eye Writers of America. Philip was once editor-in-chief of an award-winning literary magazine and drummer in bad punk rock bands.
