Bio

Jack Hilkewich has been in the Film and TV business since 1984. He got his start working on feature films for Roger Corman in Toronto, Ontario. He created the local hit TV show called the “James and Kevin Show”. It ran for 7 seasons and won many awards, including a Golden Sheaf. Jack has directed numerous TV commercials and TV series including directing segments for CBC’s program “Street Sense”. One episode that featured a segment Jack directed won an International Emmy Award. As a 3D animator, Jack worked TV shows like “Disasters of the Century”, “Size TV”, “Very Odd Jobs” and “Reinventors” for the History Channel. In 2014 Jack turned his talents towards Virtual Reality. He was the Director and lead designer of the official VR Game for Universal Studios Sharknado Franchise, “Shaknado VR: Eye of the Storm”. He is currently nearing post production on his documentary, “Mainprize”. This is Jack’s first feature film. His first feature length script, "The Wrecker" did well in many screen writing contests and took home the grand prize in season three of "Your Script Produced" in 2023. It is currently slated to go into production in 2024.
