Susan Lerner

Susan Lerner is a comedy and drama screenwriter and playwright based in New York. She writes about serious topics (antisemitism, dementia, heartbreak) but often with a comedic spin, because sometimes you just gotta laugh at the absurdity of it all. Susan studied screenwriting with Alan Kingsberg, Marc Sedaka, and Aurin Squire and is a Stowe Story Labs alum.  She developed her first ten-minute play with the Veteran's Playwrighting Workshop at La Jolla Playhouse. Prior to writing scripts, she was a novelist and corporate lawyer.
