Irene Hernandez

McNandez is a queer, married writing team based in Pasadena, California. Former contributor to the Onion, finalist Omaha Film Festival, Official Selection Irvine International Film Festival. With writing partner: semifinalist for Warner Brothers Writers Workshop & NBC Writers on the Verge fellowships, second-round at Austin Film Festival, semifinalist at Big Break Screenwriting Contest. We also wrote a play for and produced two-sold out evenings of THE END, a collection of one act plays about the end of the world, which was unintentionally prophetic, as it premiered less than two months before the pandemic.
