Nika Belianina

Writer-director of fiction and doc projects, Nika is an award-winning filmmaker. She has screened her films at over 80 festivals such as Tribeca, Atlanta, Sheffield and Just for Laughs etc. Past projects include “FEAR THY NEIGHBOR” series for Discovery, award-winning comedy “THE ROBBERY” and a short doc “THE RIVER OF THE KUKAMAS” that screened across 25 countries. Her latest film - a sci-fi micro short “PARADOX” was shot using Virtual Production’s Volume wall and is set to premiere at the 43 Fantasporto film festival in 2023. Nika currently develops a female-centric feature comedy and magical realism miniseries. She loves working in comedies and creating alternative realities. Nika is the only Canadian director mentored by MTV Paramount and is a Women in Director’s Chair alumnae. She’s also a fine art photographer with over 30 exhibitions under her belt and she secretly really wants to go to space.
