Suzanne Misako Saltz

Suzanne is passionate about her work and enjoys the process of bringing stories to life through filmmaking. Over her twenty-six years in the industry,​ Suzanne has worked with many talented directors​ on feature films, half-hour series, as well as an Emmy award winning comedy and drama. While working on the features Pleasantville and Godzilla, and such shows as Pushing Daisies, ​Bones, Smith, and Six Feet Under, Suzanne learned how to get the best performances from actors and how to tell a story through camera movement and staging. In recent years, she has worked on several television shows that incorporate stunt and special effects, gaining valuable knowledge in the technical intricacies of making great sequences to further the story and captivate the audience. Suzanne’s most recent and fifth episode of directing network television aired in October 2022 on CBS for NCIS: Los Angeles, entitled "Body Stitchers." Her episodic directorial debut, “Outside the Lines” for NCIS: Los Angeles, aired on CBS in April 2018. Her second episode, "Murder of Crows" for NCIS: Los Angeles, aired on CBS in April of 2020 . Her third episode, "Sundown" for NCIS: Los Angeles, aired on CBS in November of 2021. Her fourth episode , "MWD" for NCIS: Los Angeles, aired on CBS in April of 2022 and was the #1 scripted show of the night.
