Julia Balleza

Julia Balleza joined Blumhouse Television in 2020 as Manager, Original Programming and Development focusing on scripted series. Balleza's numerous projects are set up across multiple streaming and cable networks including Netflix, Hulu, Showtime, and Charter Spectrum, and is currently prepping the upcoming NBC limited series THE THING ABOUT PAM, starring Renée Zellweger. Prior to Blumhouse, Julia spent four years with Marvel Television, working across series RUNAWAYS, CLOAK AND DAGGER, JESSICA JONES, IRON FIST, and THE GIFTED. She began her career at CAA in the mail room and TV Lit department, and is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. A proud Tejana, Julia’s goal as an executive is to tell fun, captivating stories while opening the aperture of who’s experience is valued on screen. She loves travel, karaoke, and good conversation.
