Sonia Sebastian

I'm a passionate filmmaker with more than fifteen years of experience creating film and video content. I specialize in original trustworthy storytelling, and I continually challenge myself and keep active. I’m in post-production of my fourth feature film, “The Kiss List” produced by Marvista Entertainment. My third feature film “The virgin of Highland Park,” is an inspirational coming-of-age story based on the play “La Virgen de la Ballesta”. Currently, I'm developing my passion project: the feature film "American Kingdom", a contemporary version of Don Quixote across the United States . I directed “Freelancers Anonymous,” an English-language feature film produced by Full Spectrum Features in Chicago, and recognized it with the gender-parity stamp from ReFrame and IMDbPro. My first feature film, “De Chica en Chica,” is available on Amazon Video. I have worked with over 30 brands, including Netflix, Google Pixel, Google Home, Disney, Tinder, Romba, Walmart, Nature Made, and PayPal. These previous works allowed me to understand branded work from start to finish. I worked as a TV director for three years in a Studio in Spain, where I co-directed more than 20 episodes for Spain’s TV networks Mediaset and TeleMadrid. I've served as a juror for the International Emmy® Awards competition to recognize excellence in international television programming, among other Film and TV contests worldwide.
