Elisa Manzini

Originally from Lake Como, Elisa currently lives in Los Angeles. She specializes in dark dramas, thrillers and horrors about psychologically broken women who find the strength to fight back. She has two thriller features in post-production: ANGEL BABY, starring Rebecca De Mornay and Chris Browning, and I’LL BE WATCHING, starring Eliza Taylor and Bob Morley. Her plays have been produced in Los Angeles, Chicago and Berlin, Germany. Her other scripts have placed in many competitions including Austin Film festival, Berlin Lift-off and WeScreenplay Diverse Voices. Over the years, she has worked as a radio DJ, sang jingles for commercials, worked for a porn producer, wrote two chick lit novels published by HarperCollins and has been a staff writer for Comedy Central in Italy. She’s a proud member of the Roadmap Writers community and an animal lover.
