Melissa Skirboll

Melissa Skirboll is an award-winning director, writer, actor and producer – she was named FEMALE FILMMAKER OF THE YEAR at the 2022 San Angelo Revolution Film Festival in Texas and FILMMAKER OF THE YEAR at the 2019 Västerås Film Festival in Sweden. Her short films have screened at festivals worldwide, garnering close to 150 nominations - with wins in 40 of those categories, including personal nods for her direction, writing, acting and editing. Her screenwriting has also garnered postivie notice, most recently her pilot script "7 YEARS AFTER" won Best Pilot from the Television Feedback Screenplay Competition and was a finalist at the Vail Screenplay competition. It currently ranks in the top 7% of all scripts on Coverfly. A proud member of NYWIFT, SAG/AFTRA and The Brazen Giant Ensemble.
