Nicole Smolen

Nicole Smolen grew up in Georgia and studied in London before graduating with a degree in Cinema and Television Arts from CSUN, where she won the Movie Magic Scholarship and prestigious 2019 Wolfson Scholar Award. Nicole has a passion for telling stories that raise important questions and challenge viewers to look beneath the surface. In addition to top-tier commercials and music videos, she has produced several award-winning films, many of which have debuted at acclaimed festivals ranging from Palm Springs and Tribeca to Cannes. She has had the good fortune of collaborating with pioneering artists. Besides being certified in AVID Media Composer, she specializes in Movie Magic Budgeting/Scheduling, Final Cut Pro, Google Drive, and the Adobe Suite. Aside from writing and producing, Nicole experiments with film photography, crafts original recipes on Reel Dishes, and travels the globe.
