Steve Chivers has worked as a writer, actor, producer and director on sitcoms, hour dramas, web series, documentary and reality shows, and most recently, podcasts. His six-part podcast about the steroid scandal in sports -- “American Scandal: BALCO” -- was the number two podcast on iTunes. His follow-up, “American Scandal: The Hare Krishna Murders”, chronicles the true story of the gay son of a Baptist preacher who turned a religious cult into an international criminal enterprise. And his most recent podcast “The Execution of Bonny Lee Bakley” (actor Robert Blake’s wife who he may have murdered) was the #1 podcast in the county. His short film “Dated” – about a gay man of a certain age facing the daunting world of online dating and unexpectedly confronting the legacy of being a survivor of the AIDS crisis – has been in 15 festivals and is now a web series streaming onGayBingTV.com and at www.DatedSeries.com .
