Content Marketing

What we're looking for

We are looking for a HUSSLUP evangelist who is passionate about using content creation to build our community. This role will be hands-on creating and executing content for our external social media channels to drive user acquisition, and for our on-platform content feed to drive user engagement and satisfaction. You will work closely with all of our community and enterprise partners to drive user growth and engagement on their community feeds, as well.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and publish branded content (written and video) to HUSSLUP feed that aligns with our key content pillars and promotes engagement
  • Create, post, and manage original content, and curate entertainment news coverage and reposts for app, social media, and website
  • Develop consistent brand voice for digital content across our platform and social channels, and liaise with editorial team to ensure all branded posts are representative of the brand voice
  • Execute social campaign concepts
  • Plan and execute against content calendars for on-platform campaigns and socially-driven campaigns
  • Quickly develop and publish content during breaking news
  • Self-starter with experience leveraging social networks like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to amplify our campaigns and drive growth
  • Support marketing projects and work closely with marketing to prioritize the growth and engagement of users on social channels and email

Qualifications

  • A proven track record of generating meaningful social media campaigns that hit key metrics, including user growth and engagement
  • Strong brand instincts and experience developing consistently branded content
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Understanding of AP Style and copy writing
  • Basic photo/graphic/video editing skills (Adobe Suite, Reels)
  • Passion for the media and entertainment industry a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with experience managing separate work flows that feed into larger project or team task

Business Development

What we're looking for

We are looking for a HUSSLUP evangelist who is passionate about growing our partnerships with studios and productions companies, professional organizations, and universities. This role will lead the partnerships process from initial outreach to closing a deal, to onboarding and managing the partner to drive long term loyalty. You will work closely with our CEO and Community Lead, as well.

  • Help craft and execute our overall partnership strategy
  • Research new potential partners across studios, production companies, professional organizations, universities and unions/guilds
  • Conduct outreach to the key stakeholders at these organizations to grow our partnerships across all areas
  • Work closely with the CEO to craft the appropriate partnership terms and close deals
  • Onboard partners’ teams and members and ensure a satisfying user experience
  • Resolve support requests on a day-to-day basis

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience in business development, preferably working in partnerships
  • Attention to detail and ability to create and maintain efficient CRM
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with experience managing multiple projects and work flows
  • Passion for the media and entertainment industry a plus
  • Flexible and focussed on creative solutions
