Asha Flowers

ASHA FLOWERS is a writer and director, born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University with her Bachelor’s degree in Women's Studies. Her work has been featured by festivals including, but not limited to, Urbanworld, American Black Film Festival (ABFF), LA Shorts International Film Festival, Hollyshorts, Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF) and Pittsburgh Shorts. She also received the award for Best Comedy Short Screenplay at the 2020 Atlanta Women’s Film Festival. Asha is a proud alumni of the inaugural class of Women in Film’s INSIGHT program, which partners with USC and Ghetto Film School to identify today’s rising women of color in film and television.
