Katja Haecker

As an experienced and award winning creative for the advertising world, Katja Haecker never felt her passion for storytelling fulfilled until she found her calling in 2015. Since she writes and film directs not only commercials within the luxury world but also personal projects, like ‘Endless Me’, a car/fashion film that got nominated at the London International Creative Competition, as well as ‘Laps of Honor’, a documentary about the protagonist’s passion for fast cars, which won the award for best documentary short at the Grand Motoring Festival, best cinematography at NYWIFT &iWomanTV and was nominated for Best Documentary Short at the International Motor Film Awards in London. She also attended Cinematography and Screenwriting courses at the London Film Academy. A German native, Katja Haecker moved to the US in 2007 and, since then, has worked between both continents and wherever her passion for filmmaking would take her. Driven, experienced, focused, and open to all kinds of subjects, from racing cars to daily life ordinaries, she always has thrillers and suspenseful plots in mind, yet with an aesthetic and artistically-trained eye on fictional reality.
