Bio
Leah Anova is a Los Angeles-based Director of Photography, who received her Masters of Fine Arts in Cinematography from The American Film Institute Conservatory. Since graduating, Leah has lent her expertise in lighting, composition and camera work to ten features, as well as numerous shorts, series, and commercials. Her recent narrative project, Now & Never, was awarded the Rising Star Award at Cinegear Indie Short Film Festival. And her recent documentary work, Every Body, premiered at Tribeca Film Festival and was shortlisted by NYDOC for the Oscars 2023. Every Body is currently available on Apple TV, Amazon Prime and Peacock. Leah won a Cinematography Fellowship from Project Involve/Film Independent. She was awarded an ASC mentorship with renowned cinematographer Michael Goi, ASC through this program. Leah is an alumnus of the ASC’s Master Class Workshop.
