Rebecca Boss

Rebecca hails from Roswell, New Mexico, where she got her start in the IATSE training program, working on set during the production boom in Albuquerque. Rebecca spent four months on a boat circumnavigating the globe while traveling to ten different countries. She is a TEACH FOR AMERICA alumna, has her Master’s in Creative Writing and Cultural Studies from Mount St. Mary's University, and she spent five years teaching in low-income schools in inner-city Los Angeles while volunteering as a writing teacher to young women in juvenile hall. Rebecca also studied gender theory, critical race theory, and post-colonial theory while working on a PhD in Cultural Studies. She got her start on the hit show BEING MARY JANE on BET in 2016. Since then she co-created the show RIDE on Hallmark, which is also streaming on Peacock. RIDE also ran on the CW this past spring. Rebecca is also a graduate of the 2024 class of the WGA’s prestigious Showrunner Training Program.
