Bio

Jodie holds an MFA from CCNY, a BA from CSUN, and completed the UCLA Professionals Program in TV writing. She's worked in film as a director, actor, writer, encoder, editor, and sound editor. She has a YA non-fiction novel, Queer Cheer, releasing in May 2024 and is currently querying her young adult fantasy novel. Her TV pilots, including Wanagipi, Eversville, and Invisible, have placed in the top 1% on Coverfly and appeared on the Redlist, earned best category for ISA fellowship, top 25 in Save the Cat, and finalists in Screen Craft, and more. She is currently looking for placement on a writing staff. As a volunteer teaching teen girls leadership and confidence, Jodie knows stories expose people to various viewpoints and help foster growth. They help people understand life and find their place in it. She's visited over 32 countries in this spirit.
