Marisa Levy

Marisa Levy is an award-winning streaming, television, and digital content executive.  Marisa is the rare executive who is equally accomplished creating and selling projects for production companies as she is shepherding networks and brands in successful content strategy.  As Head of Unscripted across BET Networks at ViacomCBS, Marisa oversaw development and production of all unscripted content, launched BET+ streaming channel exceeding subscription goals, expanded their documentary division, and reinvigorated their programming with hit shows American Gangster: Trap Queens, Ruff Ryder Chronicles, No Limit Chronicles, and revamped competition series Sunday Best.  Prior to BET, Marisa served as VP Development at TLC Networks where she created and developed some of the networks' longest running global hits series such as My Big Fat Fabulous Life, Unexpected, Long Island Medium, Sex Sent Me to the ER, Dr. Pimple Popper, Extreme Cheapskates, and 90 Day Fiance. Having lived and worked in media across the US, Europe, India, and South Africa, Marisa's keen understanding of diverse audiences and trends has enabled her to create successful global TV franchises and brand-defining content strategies across an array of platforms - from digital and DTC streaming to cable and broadcast networks.
