I escaped a soul-sapping, corporate-cubicle existence to live a decade-plus overseas, galloping about the world to do things like dance with Geishas in Japan and work with elephants in the jungles of Thailand (and many other experiences) that have helped me write high-concept comedies and social justice–themed adventures set in unique, vibrant locales with a fresh and often worldly perspective.
