Terri Viani

Terri Coduri Viani started her screenwriting career on Disney/ABC's hit show, Brand Spanking New Doug. After Disney, she freelanced in New York City before moving to New England to write for The Westerly (RI) Sun and The Stonebridge Press rural newspaper group while also turning her attention back to screenwriting. Her scripts have won first place at film festivals and been finalists in the New England Film Contest and the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards. In 2022, she sold her rom-com, The Last Video Store in Alaska, to Crown Media (Hallmark); she's developing several other ideas with the company. During COVID, Terri founded Script Club, an online script reading society, and Creatives45, a networking group for writers 45+. Terri lived and traveled the world as a teen, including Saudi Arabia and the Soviet Union. She spent her high school years at an all-girls boarding school in the English countryside and resides in Connecticut with one husband and three cats; she credits her love of writing about offbeat worlds and characters in search of a place to call home to her wonderful, wandering childhood.
