Jenny Wise & Sam Woods

Jenny Wise and Sam Woods met at The Second City and iO Chicago where they studied improv and comedy writing and performed on almost every stage in town together. In early 2020, they made wine from COVID-grapes and dove fully into humor and writing for television, and have several humor publications on McSweeney’s, Slackjaw, and others. Jenny and Sam write female-driven, joke-heavy half-hour comedies with characters in way over their heads. They now reside in Los Angeles as a newly engaged power-couple where they pursue the ever elusive six-pack.
