Julian Kiani

Julian is a half Peruvian, half Iranian writer who was most recently a Supervising Producer on the third season of FIRST WIVES CLUB for BET+. He has written on CBS' multicam sitcom BROKE as well as the NBC series I FEEL BAD and MARLON. Additionally, Julian has written for the 2022 MTV VMAs, the 2021 and 2022 PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS, and served as the the Head Writer for the Amazon-backed Twitch series TWO JOYSTICKS AND A COUCH, the platform's first scripted comedy/variety show. As a comedian, Kiani appeared on Comedy Dynamics' long-running series COMING TO THE STAGE in 2022. He hosts a monthly comedy show at Hollywood's Hotel Cafe featuring top comedians and co-founded the Brooklyn Comedy Festival in New York. Prior to staffing as a writer, Kiani majored in Comparative Theology and Political Science, with stints working in the non-profit sector and at Los Angeles City Hall for the Mayor of L.A.
