Alex Freund

Alex Freund has been writing comedy ever since Sammi Fine asked him if he was gay in seventh grade and he had to quickly come up with a joke to deflect. Jillian Moreno, his writing partner, started writing stories at a young age that both impressed her parents and caused significant concerns about her mental health. They teamed up and are now proudly gay and on antidepressants, respectively. Alex and Jillian recently wrote on seasons 2 and 3 of Hulu’s Love, Victor. Co-workers describe them as “talented” and “generous with laughs, especially for their own jokes.
