Bio
Alexandra (Alexa) L. Borden is a Los Angeles-based film and theatre composer from Philadelphia, PA. She studied music composition at Berklee College of Music and Moravian University. After earning her Bachelor's degree, she received the Graduate Merit Award Scholarship to attend Columbia College Chicago, where she graduated with a Master's of Fine Arts in Music Composition for the Screen. She is known for her emotive composition style, hybrid scores featuring analog synths and folk-inspired instrumentation, and her composing work on films such as The Blue Cave, A Kiss on Candy Cane Lane, and Just Those Four Things, as well as her frequent collaborations with fellow film composer Connor Cook on films including Balloon Animal, Limerence, and She Had It Coming.
