Shana Stein

Producer/Director Shana Stein is coming off a fun year of directing hit projects such as multiple episodes of the final season of JACK RYAN, season 4 of the Emmy nominated Amazon phenom THE BOYS, the finale block of JOE PICKETT and upcoming episodes for the first seasons of GEN-V(THE BOYS spin off) THE WATCHFUL EYE and she is also booked for multiple episodes of THE LINCOLN LAWYER for season 2. This is all in her 1st year after completing her run as Executive Producer and director of multiple seasons of all four series in the immensely successful POWER franchise (Lionsgate/Starz). During her tenure, Shana Executive Produced six seasons of POWER, two seasons of GHOST, two seasons of RAISING KANAN and one season of newest entry FORCE. She has directed multiple episodes across all four series, and her episodes are often lauded as the strongest in the franchise. Shana’s round the clock schedule often included producing 3 of the series concurrently, running multiple productions on location, and in three different cities. Prior to POWER, Shana was Co-Executive Producer on CBS’s UNFORGETTABLE, and prior to that CW’s 90210, where she spent four seasons. She started her TV career as Co-Producer on the USA Network original series MONK where she worked for seven seasons. In film, Shana produced HELL RIDE, Executive Produced by Quentin Tarantino, and Independent Spirt Award nominated film, RESTAURANT starring Adrien Brody and Lauryn Hill. Shana began her career producing music videos, and also served as Director of Development for Anonymous Content. She earned her BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and her MFA from The American Film Institute.
