Natia Compton

Hey ya’ll, my name is Natia Compton and I hail all the way from Missouri. There’s a lot of stereotypes in the Midwest and my stories are to prove they’re not all right. It’s hard to find film communities and events here so I’d love to connect! I have a niche for fat female protagonists, people with disabilities, LGBTQ+ stories, BIPOC voices, senior visibility and antiheroines. I’d love to work on any film project remotely while I build my portfolio and prepare to move to LA. My current screenwriting projects includes a darkly comedic TV pilot called People with Abilities, a Midwestern gothic feature called Z.O.A, and a comedy feature called Token Fat Dancer. My short stories include a futuristic world where technology is pitted against the disability community called “You•U•pdate” and another science fiction where utility is favored over autonomy called “AgePlay”.
