Bio

Allison Chaney’s mission is to bring heartfelt diverse stories into mainstream television and film through gothic tales, fantasy adventures, and period drama. In 2020, Allison was named “Rising Star” at the Glyph Comic Awards for her comic book series, Love University. That same year, she penned an independent feature, Queen Rising, which hit Memphis theaters in 2022. Allison was selected as a mentee by TV writer/showrunner LaToya Morgan for the 2022 Unlock Her Potential class, where she learned the ins and outs of the industry through monthly mentorship meetings. Allison loves to adapt material into features and pilots and did so on three non-union assignments in 2022. She has also recently completed a feature film for award-winning Ugandan producer. Based in Los Angeles, Allison is shopping her pilots, American Town and Love University as well as her feature The Maybrook Society. She hopes to be staffed on a show similar to Wednesday or Yellowjackets or obtain a feature assignment in the vein of Enola Holmes or The School of Good and Evil.
