Michael Elliott

Michael Elliott was born to entertain. First as a professional musician, powering backlines with some of the most popular bands in the Maryland/Washington DC markets which lead to working as a much sought after studio musician. Later he became a popular stand-up comic, working clubs and colleges in the East, South and Midwest for 12 years, highlighted by opening for stars like Dave Chapelle and Darrell Hammonds. Then, starting in 2019, Mike turned his talent to screenwriting. In five years, he’s built an impressive portfolio of professional level screenplays in the genres of Action, Drama and Crime/Mystery. Two of them are in Coverfly’s Top 1% with a third in the Top 5%. His most honored script, Nobody’s Heroes, is The Runner Up Feature Screenplay in Roadmap Writer’s 2023-2024 Jumpstart Competition and has received a “Recommend” in their Roadmap Accelerator. When not creating compelling characters and breathless action sequences, Mike is a Reading Intervention Specialist, dedicated to helping 6th and 7th grade students improve their reading skills.
