Mugs Cahill

Growing up as the middle child in a large family, Mugs is a born mediator who envisioned her life as either a covert operative or a preschool teacher. She settled on being an advertising creative director for two decades until transitioning to a screenwriting career. A former screenwriting instructor who champions writers, Mugs is proud to be a Stowe Story Labs alum, a Reykjavik, Iceland Talent Lab alum, and a writer on the ISA Development Slate. She has a B.A. in Economics from Trinity University, a post-graduate degree from Musician’s Institute and studied philosophy at Boston College. Mugs lives in Los Angeles with her wife, where they founded Fire & Wine, a forum for females in the entertainment industry.
