Keila Alvarado

I’m a Screenwriter, new Business Owner, Film Director, Producer, and Government worker who has diverse experience with production companies. Previously I helped the C-Suite at CBS Corp., a United Nations Ambassador, top oil company executives, and supported many more people in different fields, including production. Also, I’m a freelance writer for NYNJ.com. As a new screenwriter, I recently completed a Sundance screenwriting class and continue to work on a fantasy franchise project, among other genres of slated projects. In addition, I completed a drama short film which has so far won awards in its festival stage. As a domestic abuse and bullied survivor, I care to share stories of resilience and I believe in being a servant leader. I serve as a board chair for the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) at the NY chapter. On the side, I have been an event organizer bringing professionals together in the tristate area. I chair positions in NAMIC, LIFE, Women in Animation NY and international charity, Daughters of Penelope, an “Expert” at Fairygodboss Inc. I volunteer resources for WOCU and serve other organizations. My goals include becoming an established and repped WGA Writer as well as a revered DGA Director. I aim for my upcoming entertainment company to be a profitable success that entertains and impacts audiences in a passionate way. I am open to collaborate, connect with investors or get hired for the right P/T job on set at this time.
